Cochin Shipyard has floated out the hull of indigenously built aircraft carrier (future) VIKRANT … low-key event; not yet official launch but only “technically floated out' as the shipyard needs the dry-dock for some other commercial work“. Ship will now undergo interior outfitting before being dry-docked again in the latter half of next year for integration of the propulsion gear-box, generators … overall, work “progressing, albeit not as per schedule”.
